"SaigaShooter - He's got an Impreza" (saigashooter)

My Monte Carlo has been making a rythmic thudding in the front end for a couple weeks and it has been getting progressively louder.
The noise happens at speed, gets louder when turning and coasting, and gets deafening when braking.
There is no pusling of the brake pedal, but the wheel does vibrate (along with the rest of the car).
Can anyone tell me what I should be looking for when I jack it up? My gut says tie rods and ball joints.
Here is the video, it’s a bit long but shows all the symptoms.

Could be a CV joint. Check the rubber boots on them. If they tear it lets dirt & sand into the joint which ruins it in very short order.

I’m not sure which sound I should be listening for. What speed the sound come in at? What age and condition are your tires in?

Sounds like ball joints at the end to me. If you aren’t feeling anything in the pedal.

certainly check those tie-rod ends, but I bet its a CV-joint.

If the noise changes pitch as you shift weight on the car, but stays a constant rate, then probably wheel bearing.

Replace the car. Or anything with rubber under the hood (bushings, motor mounts, tie rods, etc.)

Does the steering wheel shake all of the time?
Just at speed (50+)?
Only when braking?
During braking but only certain speeds?

It’s pretty constant once you get above 35 mph, rough roads make the shake/pop/thunking worse, it really feels like something is just flying around wildly in the front end.
I’ve had wheel bearings go bad before and they have never done anything besides a roaring noise that changes intensity when you turn depending if you transferred weight on or off that corner of the car, this sounds (and feels) entirely different.

It almost sounds like a loose wheel.

Could be a loose wheel, also check the following: Brakes (see if one is hanging or if caliper is stuck), check lugs & lug-nuts, Ball joints, and tie rod ends.
